We aim to bring you up to date information on all the new developments and products relating to satellite navigation. In-car satellite navigation is now taking off in a big way - if you had a system as an optional extra on a new car you would expect to pay in excess of £1,000 for the beenefit - why tie yourself to one system, fixed to just one car, when you can buy your own system, which you can update from time to time with new maps and software and can transfer between vehicles?

So what can satnav do for you? Planning journeys in advance takes the stress out of driving. There is nothing worse when driving than having to stop every ten minutes to refer to the map. Advances in technology mean that some modern satellite navigation systems can receive Traffic Management information - allowing the satnav unit to route the driver around traffic holdups, roadworks etc.
