Garmin StreetPilot C320

The C320 comes from the Garmin StreetPilot range. This unit represents affordable, comprehensive satellite navigation with prices in the region of £270.

The touch-screen menu makes the system easy to use. The only buttons on the device are a rotating volume control and the main on/off switch.

The screen on the unit is touch-sensitive allowing for ease of operation; the picture is bright and the images are clear. The voice-prompted turn-by-turn instructions makes navigating whilst driving straight-forward and stress-free.

Entering your destination is easy. Automatic route re-calculation occurs if you stray off the planned route - ideal if you accidently take a wrong turn or you make a detour due to a hold-up or traffic congestion ahead.

In common with the other Garmin units not only does the unit come pre-loaded with a “Points of Interest” database. Points of Interest are such amenities as airports, post offices, petrol stations, cash machines, golf courses, cinema's etc. You can also upload customized POI lists such as speed camera and school safety zone databases that are available from the internet to your StreetPilot C320. This is really easy to do thanks to the free software, POI Loader, which you can download from the Garmin website.

The c-series provides state of the art in-car navigation with such features as automatic route re-calculation, both 2D and 3D moving maps and turn-by-turn voice instructions.

The StreetPilot C320 is a smart, compact satnav unit which can easilt be transferred between vehicles - allowing a family to share a unit if they so wish.
