Magellan

Finding it's roots in California USA, the Magellan Systems Corporation was initially founded in 1986.

The original company merged with Ashtech Corporation in 1997 to become Magellan Corporation, which was bought by the Thales Group in July 2001. This was subsequently merged with one of its subsidiaries to become Thales Navigation - combining four leading brands - MLR, DSNP, Magellan and Ashtech.
