Mio 269/269+

The Mio 269 has an integrated GPS antenna to receive satellite signals.

Maps come pre-loaded on the 2.5GB internal hard drive - simply plug the unit in and away you go. Additional storage can be added by using SD/MMC cards and the unit is capable of taking cards upto 1GB in size.

The MioMap CE software is based on Navigon's Mobile Navigator 4 and the unit can be controlled using either touch-screen controls or the hardware buttons on the unit.

The unit also has a Points of Interest database showing locations for hotels, petrol stations etc. local to your current position, wherever that may be.

Clear turn-by-turn voice instructions and visual map instructions guide you to your destination. The unit has a built-in speaker and rechargeable Li-Ion battery.

Multiple destinations can also be input, ideal for someone who has to make a number of stops and wants to plan their journey in advance.

Music as well - the Mio 268 comes preloaded with MP3 music playing software - simply pop in a SD or MMC card with your music stored on it and press play. 500MB of internal storage is also available on the hard drive for storing music.

The unit comes boxed with an external GPS antenna, in-car charger (cigarette lighter), AC adapter for use outside the vehicle, USB cable and suction-based windscreen mount, carry case, earphones, remote control and a bicycle mount.
