The Navman F20 is ready to use straight out of the box - all maps come pre-installed and there is no need to link the system to a PC prior to using it. The F20 comes with a bright, easy to use anti-glare 3.5-inch colour screen - allowing easy access to the intuitive menu system. The Navman F20 utilises SiRFstar III receiver technology which provides assuracy to within 5 metres 95% of the time. The system is powered by the SmartST navigation software coupled with Tele Atlas 2006 mapping data. The Navman F20 comes complete with an in-car power connector and the internal lithium-ion rechargable battery gives up to 3.5 hours of use, dependent on ambient operating conditions. On the top right-hand side of the sturdy case are "Park" and "Fuel" buttons - handy for finding local destinations when needed. Navigating to "Home" and "Recent Destinations" is also straight-forward using the on-screen menu. Locating destinations is simple using the postcode search facility. Real-time traffic information can be accessed through the optional T1 Traffic module - available separately. Unique to the Navman F20 is the "Pause Journey" capability - allowing the user to pause the current route being navigated - say for a short break - and then recommence the journey at a later time. It is possible to store Points of Interest and Favourite destinations on the Navman F20. The system comes with multiple routing options - shortest trip, fastest trip, nearest Point of Interest etc.. The Navman F20 gives voice-guided, turn-by-turn instructions making any journey easier for the driver and passengers.
