Navman iCN 320

The iCN-320 from Navman offers affordable in-car satellite navigation for those buying to a limited budget. You can expect to pay in the region of £130 for this system.

The built-in battery allows the unit to be used outside of the vehicel, either for planning a trip in advance or moving to another vehicle altogether.

The Back-on-Track™ function is a useful feature of the iCN 320. If you should stray from the planned route the system will calculate a new route to your destination. Controlling the system is easy via the buttons on the front of the unit.

The unit comes with a built-in GPS receiver and rechargeable battery so the unit can be used outside of the vehicle for planning routes in advance and for navigating whilst on foot. The software and maps come pre-loaded on the iCN-320 so there is no need to own a personal computer.

As an entry-level unit you don’t get moving 3D maps, adding your own Points of Interest, touch screen or multiple route planning. What you do get is turn-by-turn navigation to your destination with a 2D mini map and voice-guided directions. As an introduction to in-car satellite navigation this represents good value for money.
