TomTom ONE version 3 - European

The TomTom ONE version 3 comes in a Great Britain as well as a European version.

This version covers most of Western Europe including the following countries:

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City

TomTom are now the market leaders in the UK and this version of the TomTom ONE comes with the basic features we would expect any satnav system to have.

Plug and Play functionality allows the TomTom ONE to be used straight our of the box. No need to install maps or software - just install the unit in the vehicle (straightforward!) and you're ready to go.

The TomTom ONE v3 benefits from the latest in GPS techonology. The GPS chipset used in modern satnav systems allows the satellite fix to be received quickly from a cold start.

The version 3 comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen allowing for a bright, clear image at all times. Entering locations is simple using the touch-screen menu system.

Both the address and full postcode can be used to enter your chosen destination. Directions are shown on the screen. Crisp, clear, spoken instructions are given well in advance of each turn or manouevre.

The TomTom ONE version 3 comes pre-loaded with all the latest mapping data. The new TomTom MapShare facility allows changes to maps to be downloaded daily via use of the TomTom HOME software

The system comes with a large database of Points of Interest, such as petrol stations, restaurants, hotels etc- simply tell the TomTom which amenity you are looking for an it will find the nearest one and navigate you to it quickly and simply.

Real-time traffic information can be recieved by connecting the TomTom ONE to the TMC module available separately.

The unit also has the ability to quickly calculate a new route if the driver should stray from the previously calculated one.

The TomTom ONE version 3 supports a large number of languages for both visually showing locations on the screen and for spoken instructions.
